About Me

I have graduated from Sabanci University EE program’s Hw/Sw co-designer track on 2009 with Mathematics minor. Although I have electronics engineering education, I was deep into programming, writing parallel programs well before my senior year.

After my graduation from SU, I worked in an R&D company at Bogazici University Teknopark, called Techneon RFID for 1.5 years while pursuing Master’s in EE at Bogazici University. My position at the company was (full-time) Embedded System Engineer and I developed all the necessary firmware for the first “Turkish” HF RFID reader product line.

I had my Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Koc University. I am proud to be a part of Microsoft Research Center for Multicore Software Engineering in collaboration with Barcelona Supercomputing.

I have lead the project KUDA - The split race checker. Here is my slideset that I’ve presented to Tim Harris from Microsoft Research. Our paper has been accepted to WoDet3, co-located with Asplos’12.

Currently I am involved in several on-going projects on YKB R&D as a software engineer, probably having no less than 3 Visual Studio and 2 IDEA instances doing coding spree on my dual monitors while rocking Daft Punk with my Bose QC15.
